I just recently got back from the music store getting 2 of my Bass Guitars fixed a Yamaha TRB 6 String ,and a Stingray 5 String . Had an issue with the connection on them both .The funny thing is that they both gave out on me at the same time which was a real pisser. But it really felt good getting both my babies back and playing them again .Man i just love being a Musician. Have to take one of my Keyboards to get fixed as well but i'm holding of on that for a bit . Thats the good news ,but on a sad note i recently read that Steve Cropper of Booker T & The MGs recently passed as well as Phil Upchurch Session Guitarist .I even heard that Jimmy Cliff recently passed .It sucks when Musicians that one admires pass on .It was bad enough when Chic Corea and George Duke Passed on. He grew up hard and tough in Mississippi ,he married his first wife when he was eighteen ,nighteen years old ,his wife back then was only fourteen for christ sakes, but also the book mentions his influences .
